Lotus Evija 2020: British First Electric Hypercar

The world is going electric in terms of almost everything a human being use to make his life easier. One of the most important aspect in this regard has to be the transportation medium , which currently uses  fossil fuel releasing lot of toxic gases in the environment ultimately causing more harm than good  when travelling part is concerned . Now, with the fuel prices and global warming rising up, humans have realised the time  has come to revolutionise the whole system and take certain actions regarding the green revolution. One thing which is most loving to human being and make their life easier is one causing the air quality index in the worrying situation - CARS. Though many small car makers are doing their share, it is the sports car and hypercar fans and potential buyers who want no compromise in the performance of  upcoming green cars.

One carmaker in this regard have realized the dream demand and tried too exceed their limits on what a human mind can achieve and can implement it with right engineered approach. LOTUS a british carmaker which has recently showcased its first fully electric hypercar called as EVIJA. Evija is pronounced as ' E-vi-ya' , meaning ' the first in existence'  or the living one said Lotus. It is going to be the most powerful series production car ever built . Is going to be one of the most exclusive car in the world considering the production is limited to only 130 units. The car is going to be produced in company's facility in Hethel and roll out in the market  in 2020.

The Evija will feature a one-piece carbon fibre monocoque chassis , helping to reduce the overall weight of the machine. The interesting fact however is that Lotus has claimed that it will set new parameters when it comes to dynamic ability and driving performance of the car in its history.
Evija will get 4 electric motors (1,471kilowatts)  producing 1.973 horsepower. The hypercar can reach 100 kilometers (62mph) in less than 3 seconds, With the range of about 402 kilometers(250 miles) and top speed  of over 322 kilometers per hour(200mph) the Evija has a lot of potential to scare many hypercars on the track as well as on the road. 

Honda- E : Frankfurt Motorshow 2019

At the Frankfurt Motorshow 2019 Honda has finally showcased its E model, an electric car mainly focussed for urban travel. Many renders of Honda-E has been made earlier , catching lots of eyeballs every time. This car was first unveild at the Urban EV concept two years ago and since then it has been the matter of debate.

Honda- E will be offered in two power outputs producing 136bhp and 154bhp and producing same 315Nm of torque. The can go from 0-100 kmph in around 8 seconds.

The 35.5Kw of liquid cooled battery promises a range of 220km. The car can be charged 80per cent with 50Kwh charger in 36 minutes and 100 kwh charger will manage the same in 30 minutes.

Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS: Future S-Class

Mercedes has unveiled Vision EQS , an EV concept at the Frankfurt Automotive Show. It is going to be the future of what we call the world's best car - Mercedes Benz S- Class. A car which needs no introduction when it comes to neat and subtle yet stylish design language, latest and out of the box technologies onboard and the luxurious ride quality. It is fascinating to imagine the future of already capable car.
Looking at Vision EQS and you will realise the future of S-Class is very bright and it is going to give the same thrill in the upcoming time as well.
The design of the Vision EQS is nothing like anything, sleek body with no sharp edges on the sight and metallic paint scheme give tgis car  premium look. Head lamps with are neatly designed with DRLs in split pattern . The grille of the car has to be the talking point as it houses a huge lighted Mercedes logo in the centre . The grille consists of 188 indiviual LEDs to give the front of this car a 3D effect.
The side profile of this car looks splitted into lower and upper halves due to the blacked out rood and pillars. Side of this car is again designed with no sharp edges and lines , it looks smooth aerodynamically advance machine which it has to be and the tyres on this car are massive with distinct alloy wheel design to give this car a purposeful stance.

At the rear Mercedes has gone one step ahead by introducing tail light setup with 229 LEDs on the bodywork looking like miniature three pointed stars  , which will this car a unique identity on road .

The Vision EQS is powered by electric motors at the front and rear to produce 488PS  of power and 760 Nm of torque. The car can do a 0-100 kmph run in under 4.5 seconds and can reach the top speed of above 200 Kmph.

Lamborghini Sian hypercar: The time has come

The time has come for the automobile industry to change its genes and dna , the time has come to go electric. The time when world is choking , gloval warming stats are increasing day by day and pollution level rising up, the crude oil cars are needed to be replaced by something more efficient and environment friendly at the same time.
Those were days when electric word was only associated with the technologies like music system and power windows inside the car , but now car manufacturers and envifonmentalists are serious to bring electric powered cars. Then what about the performance cars, the cars which use IC engine to get going, producing enormous power and torque, giving thrill every time you press the throttle by making a secific grunt, instead of the electric cars which are associated with less power and no noise characteristic.
To anwer that question Lamborghini has showcased its new car in the lineup called SIAN. A hypercar which is hybrid of 6.5 litre engine producing 774bhp (15more than Aventador SVJ) and supercapacitors. Now, the use of supercapacitor is a matter of debate among engineers and enthusiasts . Well, by using supercapacitors Lamborghini claims that they will be easily packed and will be three times lighter and produce three times more power than li-ion battery. The car gets centrally mounted 48V34bhp e-motor, so that Sian can be parked and reveresed using battery power alone.
The Sian will be the most powerful Lambo ever considering thr fact that it will produce about 808bhp of combined output power. With this astonishing power figures the car will reach 0-62mph in just under 2.8 seconds and can reach maximum speed of 218mph.
Only 63 units of the car are being made and all of them have been sold. So , the Lamborghini is here witg its hybrid and efficient game with no compromise on power figures( even more than before) to showcase its true ability .A company challenging its other competitors and givingg enthusiasts a reason to smile and not to worry about electrification where 

Porsche Taycan: Porche's First Electric Car

2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and all the journalists and car enthusiasts have gathered to take a look on the Mission-E concept , a car made by a German manufacturer Porsche. It has gathered a lot of attention back then considering how the world is planning to move on to electrification of transportation system and passenger vehicles are one of the key aspect of whole transformation. In the past few years many giants and even small car manufacturers have been introducing their hybrid and electric vehicles and Tesla being the most debatable carmaker in this whole picture.

Now, let's come back to 2019 , Porsche has showcased the Taycan an all electric 4-door coupe and the car is expected to come in 2020. The car will come in the bracket of fastest vehicles available in the market. Yes, this car is practical and will carry your family with utmost ease without harming the environment . Porche is famous for its powerful internal combustion engines and have given a lot of competition to its rivals . Now, the time has come for this giant manufacturer to show its ability in the electric commuting field. Though there are many electric cars in the market it is the Taycan which certainly looks futuristic and quite purposeful, making it one of the good looking car to spend money on. The overall layout of the car is on the sportier side with those signature four Porsche LED DRLs in the main headlamp . There is no grille  in this car for obvious reasons but Porche has provided sufficient amount of blacked out detailing on the bumper to reduce the visual bulk. The  bonnet looks neat with minimalistic lininings on the sides and the Porsche logo in the centre.
From side the sporty alloy wheels with huge yellow coloured brake callipers and the white inserts on the tyre makes this car quite appealing. The coupe roofline and the four doors tells you that this is not a small car in dimensions and the overall styling from the side is subtle and elegant at the same time.

Coming to the back and you recognize the Porche elements , first the tailamp which is running from one side to another with Prosche written in the centre having blue inserts to show the electric nature this car has. Rear of the car looks mascular with broad wheel arching, small rear window  and no chrome and other bling factor. The number plate slot is on the lower half blacked out part of the bumper.
This car is quick and can really take lead on many powerful internal combustion and hybrid cars. but it is not as quick as the Tesla for that matter. This car can achive 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds and 3.0 seconds for the base Taycan turbo. The numbers are quite astonishing for any enthusiast to not look back on his/her crude oil car in the future for kick in the pants feel , which this car easily give without making any noise.

37% of the car is made up of aluminium to reduce weight and aid the fuel efficiency.  The car gets an all-wheel drive layout thanks to the permanent magnetic synchronous motor on each axle . Taycan can be charged from a 5% charge to 80% in 22.5 minutes in ideal situations with a DC fast charger offering 270 KW battery pack as claimed by the manufacturer.

Electric cars are the future of automobile industry and the step by the Porsche in the form of Taycan is welcoming and showcase the potential of electric cars for a customer to move from IC to EV not because of need but also by the choice.

Bugatti Sets World Record breaks 300 miles an hour barrier

Bugatti has set a new world record, becoming the first automobile manufacturer to break the 300 miles an hour 480kmph) barrier in the world. A prototype Bugatti Chiron driven by Bugatti's well renowned raacing driver Andy Wallace has createda history.



Number of changes were done in the car in order to make it more aerodynamic efficient and stable on road simultaneously , wheels were also taken care of to ptovide better grip and temperature tolerance at such high speed. Number of weight changes have been done inside the car to make it lighter , passenger seat was replaced with computer units , and the cabin is equipeed with role cage and safety bars for added safety.


Record breaking car was powered by a 8.0 litre quad turbo W16 engine which churns out staggering  1578 bhp. Though the all drive system and transmission remained standard.

Bugatti has again given enthusiasts a topic to debate, then comes the Koenigsegg in everyone's mind and What would be the next move by this company?

BMW VANTABLACK : The Blackest Car

Hey What's your car colour? What colour are you considering for your car? And then the answer came . Some like colour with maximum wavelength RED , a colour which can easily make people turn head while you are on your way to lead the world, some like white coloured car its for subtle nature, some say yellow looks amazing . The colour combination for our eye is uncountable and the way companies are learning the new paint technologies , there is a lot in the show to still wait for , but one colour that can easily split opinion is the colour BLACK. Now, the real question comes How much Black?
Glossy black , matt black , etc people say wit glitter in their eyes when asked about their car colour , a colour that can absorb light or shall we say maximum light coming compared yo other colours and then making any black coloured object look a scintillating piece of art. Considering the black colour on moving machine is a different shivering feel altogether. Coming back to the question, How much Black?

Well BMW has showcased its VANTABLACK X6 which is the blackest car in the world. The car is not expected to run on assembly line . X6 seriously? A car that is pretty much known for its coupe like design and curves all over the body, black will not highlight the true potential of the car, But looking at the car and the story is completely different again. Only the lights and the BMEs light grille can make you realise it is some sort of a car. Painted in darkest pigment VANTABLACK, a pigment that uses carbon nanotubes and can absorb upto 99.65% light making it undefinable to express when painted on a familiar moving machine. Yes, black is the most accident prone colour due to visibilty issues as explained by many research Institutes but it is the status, the charm this colour carries and make the human want it like a wine. BMW has even glorified this colour which can make many car enthusiasts and car collectors to have one in tbeir garage . But BMW has confirmed that this car will not be going out in for production. It was a part of Research by the company to analyze the true potential of VANTABLACK and also see the changes it can make to the current automobile features and give more comfortable ride by looking at its applications.
