2019 Jeep Wrangler Launched in India: Priced at Rs. 63.94 lakh.

Jeep has launched its capable offroader Wrangler at Rs. 63.94 lakh (ex-showroom pan India ) in India . It is the fourth generation of Jeep Wrangler .


Design:


Exterior:


The styling elements include change in Jeep's iconic seven-slat front grille which has been tweeked and makes the front of the car look more fresh and modern. LED Headlamps with DRLs (daytime running lights) in a circular pattern and LED fog lamp which give this car its own characteristic . The noticeable change is in rear windscreen which is larger as compared to its predecessor and spare wheel is now set lower to increase rear visibility. The car can be customized  with soft top , Hardtop , no top, full doors or no doors, says Jeep. A technology called muti length hinge pin system simplifies the removal and installation of doors.


Interior:


Stepping inside the new Jeep Wrangler and you will notice the car feels more premium and spacious than the outgoing model. The car is equipped is with latest gizmos like 7.0 inch multi-info display , an 8.4 inch infotainment screen in the centre which gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay,  off roading mode information like axle status , car's altitude, longitude and latitude , steering angle, pitch and road angle  . Features like  ambient lighting, a tyre-pressure monitoring system , rear AC vents , dual-zone climate control , multiple USB ports and 12V sockets adds urban touch to this SUV. 

Safety Features:

The car gets ABS (anti-locking braking system) with EBS(Electronic braking system) , ESC(Electronic stability control) , electronic roll mitigation, hill-start assist and traction control. The car will get more than 70 safety features. At speeds below 6km/h, the car will stop automatically if any object is detected in its way.


Engine:

There will be just one engine option on offer. The new Wrangler is powered by a 2.0 litre, four cylinder , turbo-petrol engine that produces 270 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Power is distributed across all-four wheels of the car via an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine is currently BS4 complaint and Jeep is expected to introduce the BS6 compliant engine soon.

The car is brought to India via CBU (completely built unit) as it is manufactured at Jeep's Toledo facility in the USA.
