Author: Sudhanshu Raghav

The Ferrari LaFerrari , a car that looks like nothing but a UFO maneuvering on Tarmac. This two- seat hypercar with 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 and a KERS- esque battery pack and electric motor that produces 950 bhp and 970 Nm of Torque (combined) coming in Rear mid engine and rear wheel  drive. They say this is the best Ferrari ever made. The car carries its uniqueness since Ferrari has made only 499 LaFerrari and all of them have been sold to serious Ferrari collectors. Another beauty and the beast straight away from Italy.

The first mild hybrid produced by Ferrari, with highest power output of any Ferrari road car still being the efficient one due to its decrease in fuel consumption by 40 per cent. LaFerrari produces 330g/km CO2 emissions.
Equipped with carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes , discs at the front measures 398mm while rear ones measure380mm which makes this car  coming to a halt in no time with eye popping out power. Coming to the tyres LaFerrari got Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres measuring 265/30 R front and 345/30 R rear .

This Car has number safety and electronic features such as electronic stability control, electronic traction control EF1 Trac F1 with hybrid system , active aerodynamics and high performance ABS and EBD system (Anti-locking braking system and Electronic brake distribution system).

With the speed exceeding 349 kmph (217mph) as claimed by Ferrari , and doing 0 to 100 kmph in under 2.4 seconds , 0-200 kmph in under 7 seconds and 0-300 kmph in 15 seconds , these figures shows how breath-taking quick this car is.

There is drama inside as well , with the cockpit like styling of the dashboard with curves and lines all over signifies the futuristic design this car carries , steering wheel with integrated controls , and gear levers fixed directly to the steering column shows how focussed you have to be while handling this car.

Now let's talk about LaFerrai Aperta which is the open-top version of LaFerrari. This one comes with a carbon fibre hardtop and canvas soft top both of them can be removed. After removing it enhaces the appeal of this car furthermore. The electronic controlled powertrain is more efficient in this car, radiators are re-angled to flow the air directly the underbody instead of flowing over the bonnet.

Both the variants of LaFerrai has spark the soul of enthusiasts in terms of styling, extreme engineering, ride and handling balance due to enhanced driving dynamics, mild hybrid technology which looks after the added performance as well as the concern on environment considering the way hypercars drinks the fuel. And the exclusivity this car offers , makes it state of the art and inspiration for other carmakers as well.
