Audi R8 2019 : Launch Alert.

Audi has always kept its image as a luxury carmaker, but the company equally focuesses on making sports car. Sports cars which can carry the whole family, their luggage and still mantaining their characteristic. Audi has the dedicated two seater sports car which has always carries the company's design language and engine dynamics to whole new level-  The Audi R8 , and this one has recently got the upgrade which has given the enthusiasts and potential buyers a reason to learn cars a bit more.
The car is expected to be launched in India in September, 2019.


Design:

The R8 looks sharp like other cars in the Audi's lineup but this one is  more aggressive with that singleframe grille which is now even bigger than its predecessor. The huge air intakes and the sharp bumper lines give this car distinctive look. THe lights of the car have been updated they are now getting the Audi's new LED DRLs pattern . The front of the car is minimalistic yet full of engineering and design art. From side the newly designed alloy wheels adds a lot of appeal to this car. The car is similar to the previous gen models and not much has been done here.Coming to the rear the car gets a spoler and and the oval exhaust tip certainly adds drama to the appearance of this car.

Engine:

The 2019 R8 will be powered by the 5.2 liter V10 engine producing 562 hp of power and 550 Nm of torque. The car has gained 30 hp of power over its predecessor. The car will also come with performance pack called R8 performance which will get 612 hp of power .  This latest version of the R8 will be able to compete with the Italian rivals like Huracan performante which produces  640hp of power. Even though Lamborghini Huracan is sibling of this beast.


The car has been engineered to provide more stability during corners as well as on high speed maneuvers. The steering feedback has been improved and the company claim that this model will be more direct and provide better feel and feedback while driving making the driver confident to push it.

The car can do 0-100kmph run in just 3.1 seconds.

Transmission:          7-speed Dual-clutch
Top speed                 206mph       

Audi has lot of expectations with this car to outrun its competitors and carry forward the legacy.
