Electric cars in India: 2019

The Internal combustion engines have given us the way to explore the vehicle science in a different perspective. The way they sound, their reliabiliy , availability of fuel and the variations in torque and power on the basis of fuel have made the IC engines creates History. History? Yes! With the fuel prices going up and the carbon footprints making it difficult for life to survive, the IC engines which solely runs on crude oil products is causing harm to the earth.
What's the solution then? The Research and Development departments of various Automobile companies have been working rigorously to find the alternative way to handle the scenerio. They have introduced hybrid electric vehicles, which are equipped with battery pack aiding the power and torque figures and using advanced technologies like regenerative braking to make the car more efficient.

Now, Carmakers have gone one step further and they are beginning to introduce the complete electric vehicle in their lineup. A Vehicle which produces no noise pollution, no harmful fumes and is efficient too. Many countries have been opting for electric mobility technology for their public transportation system as well as for small passenger vehicles  while providing the suitable infrastructure for them.

India is not left behind and here too governement and Carmakers are working to bring the electric transportation run on full swing. People are also becoming aware about this technology and overall benefit associated with it. Gone are the days when only one or two small electric cars were available in India with high price tag and high maintenance cost , lack of power and lesser range. But now many competitors are realising the trend in Automobile Industry considering the millenial age group.
