Maruti Suzuki is all set to bring the XL6 in the Indian car market. XL6 will be the fifth car to go on sale through the Nexa network . Customers have high expectations with this car considering the image Maruti Suzuki has carried in case of Ertiga, a car XL6 has been based on.
Design:
Exterior:
XL6 is a premium Ertiga ,which is currently on sale in Indian market. This six-seater Avatar of Ertiga certainly looks more modern and appealing. The talking point of the XL6 is front look as shown in the official images released by the carmaker. The stylish headlamp cluster with LEDs and DRLs making a linear pattern with the lining running across the front grille of the car, shows the amount of attention to detail designers have given to this car. Indicators are placed beside DRLs and inside the whole headlamp cluster giving this car a very neat look. The sharp lines on the bonnet makes the front of XL6 aggressive and more sporty than the Ertiga. The car is expected to come with the blacked out alloy wheels.
Interior:
The XL6 will come with the black theme cabin to give this car sporty look. The overall dashboard design is pretty similar to the Ertiga, still something that is new is the aluminium finish on the dashboard with piano black inserts again giving this car sporty character and premium touch to the cabin. The car will come with the SmartPlay studio infotainment system that is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
To make the six-seat configuration inside the cabin, the bench will be replaced by the captain seats and the car will get leather upholstery instead of the leather ones offered in the Ertiga.
Features:
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will get number of safety and convinient features to make the ride safe and hassle free. To start of the XL6 will get the reverse parking camera, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, cruise control and more to be revealed.
Engine:
The XL6 will be powered by the 1.5 litre petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine , both the engines mated to either 5 speeed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic. The car will also get the Maruti's SHVS (smart hybrid vehicle by Suzuki) smart hybrid system to aid the efficiency of the car.
Competition:
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will compete with the Mahindra Marazzo, Renault Lodgy and Honda BR-V
